🌍 Healthy Futures – Better Health, Better Lives, Better Planet
Together with more than 300 participants, I listened to inspiring international thought leaders and role models such as Sandrine Dixson-Declève, Joanna Yarrow, Julie Schadeck, Aurelia Hack and Anne-Sophie Mouraud and many more, who challenged us to rethink the relationship between health, wellbeing, sustainability and prosperity.
And deputy mayor Maurice Bauer of the Ville de Luxembourg gave a great overview of the concrete sustainability projects in the capital city, like the important climate plan!
My key takeaways:
✅ Sustainability starts with health – physical, mental, social and environmental.
✅ We need to move from an "ego-system" focused on power and profit towards an "eco-system" built on collaboration, wellbeing and shared prosperity.
✅ Human health and planetary health are inseparable.
✅ Future success cannot be measured by GDP alone. Wellbeing, inclusion, resilience and environmental protection matter just as much.
✅ Sustainable change happens when we inspire people through hope, purpose and positive action.
One message particularly resonated with me:
"Putting health at the heart of the narrative means reigniting the desire to act: for ourselves, for others and for the planet."
In the Luxembourg Convention Bureau, we are grateful for conferences like the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum. They demonstrate the power of impactful business events to spark new ideas, challenge behaviours and positively influence society.

For us, it's when you leave not only with new knowledge, but also with ideas you can't wait to put into practice!
Over the past two days, we had the pleasure of welcoming LinkedIn expert Martin Fennemann for two inspiring and interactive training sessions at the Luxembourg Convention Bureau.
🔎 Day 1: A fresh perspective on our own LinkedIn presence with the LCB Team
Our first session brought the entire LCB team together for an internal workshop. What we particularly appreciated was Martin's hands-on approach: instead of relying solely on theory, he analysed our own LinkedIn profiles and immediately showed us where we could improve.
Seeing our accounts through an expert's eyes made the advice so much more relevant! Martin's enthusiasm, honest feedback and practical recommendations gave us plenty of new ideas to take forward.
🤝 Day 2: Learning, sharing and putting ideas into action with our Partners!
The second day was all about our partners! And what a motivated group we had!
From insightful questions to lively discussions, the curiosity and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring. What made this full-day seminar particularly valuable was the opportunity to immediately apply what we had just learned through interactive exercises and practical workshops.
No waiting until tomorrow to try things out. We were already putting our new knowledge into practice together!
