Accessibility Statement

The body making the statement "Luxembourg Convention Bureau G.I.E." is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. This accessibility statement applies to: https://luxembourg-convention-bureau.lu/

What is digital accessibility?

Everyone should be able to easily use and consult the information on a website or an app, in particular people with disabilities and/or using assistive software or specialised equipment (blind, partially sighted or otherwise disabled people).

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the European Standard EN 301 549 and the Web Accessibility Assessment Framework (RAWeb) version 1 , due to the reasons listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):

Non-compliance

  • 1. Embedded LinkedIn posts lack captions and image descriptions; screen readers announce them merely as "iframe" or "image".

  • 2. Partner visuals (logos, icons) have generic alt attributes that do not convey partner identity.

  • 3. The typewriter animation for form results has no manual pause/stop control; only the system “reduce motion” preference applies.

  • 4. Favorite manager controls are positioned away from their related content, potentially confusing assistive technology users.

Disproportionate burden

  • 1. Implementing a manual pause control for the typewriter animation would require a major component refactor, not feasible within current timelines.

  • 2. Enforcing detailed alt attributes for all partner images would involve extensive manual work and partner coordination.

  • 3. Building a server‑side proxy for LinkedIn iframes is beyond the technical and organizational scope.

  • 4. Repositioning favorite manager controls would demand a full UX overhaul, affecting multiple modules.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 23 July 2025. The declarations contained in this statement are accurate and based on an actual evaluation of this website compliance with the requirements defined in RAWeb 1 , such as a self-assessment done by "Luxembourg Convention Bureau G.I.E.".
