This week, Luxembourg is proud to welcome the #ICCASkills CICS certification programme for early and mid-level professionals in the international #MeetingsIndustry.
 
From 16–18 February 2026, participants are gathering at MAMA SHELTER Luxembourg for an intensive 3-day training designed to strengthen expertise, leadership skills and strategic knowledge within the #BusinessEvents sector.
 
During the first day, discussions focused on key industry topics including current meetings industry trends, the evolving role of convention bureaux, and stakeholder management, from collaboration with meeting industry partners to working closely with congress ambassadors.
 
⭐As the European hub for ICCASkills training, the #LuxembourgConventionBureau is pleased to support this world-class professional development opportunity, reinforcing Luxembourg’s role as a centre for knowledge exchange and industry growth in the heart of Europe.

#BusinessEvents play a key role in Luxembourg’s economy, supporting the events ecosystem, hospitality sector, knowledge exchange and international visibility.

To better understand market developments and strengthen the future of the sector, the Ministère de l'Économie - Luxembourg, in collaboration with the #LuxembourgConventionBureau, has launched the Luxembourg Business Events Barometer.

📩 This national survey provides a structured overview of the professional events market in Luxembourg, covering events with at least 20 participants. Concerned partners and venues have received an invitation by email and are kindly asked to submit their contribution by 23 February.
